There are a few different post-judgment motions which can be filed after an order is entered.  However, the clock GENERALLY “starts ticking” the moment the order has been filed by the Judge.  Probably the most common motion is a Motion for Reconsideration pursuant to Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure Rule 35(D).  This motion must be filed within 30 days of the Judge’s order being filed.  There are some other motions which can be filed as well that have different time requirements for filing.  Keep in mind that, with the exception of an appeal, all post-judgment motions you file in the family court are going to be ruled on by the same Judge who issued the ruling in your case which you are unhappy with.  It is also important to keep in mind there are certain time-extending motions which can be filed to extend the time for you to file an appeal.  A Motion for Reconsideration DOES NOT.  It is important you discuss your options with an experienced family law attorney to insure you do not miss any of these important deadlines.

At my hnaeirg, the At my hnaeirg, the court investigator lied under oath about her interview with me. All the lies my ex wife told were taken as fact. No proof. No evidence, because none existed. I never had a chance. You gave me false hope and took my money. The attorney you referred me to, me good.
